ABOUT SYKIIX ART

Hi there, S.F Khan otherwise known as Sykiix. I'm an artist based in the US, originally growing up in Ireland.

Art has always been a huge aspect of my life and a way of expressing not only my emotions but my visual experience as well. I'd often get an image in my head that I couldn't get rid of until I painted it, or a vision of what I thought was real but turned out to be my eyesight playing tricks on me.

I was born with a rare eye condition known as Congenital hereditary endothelial dystrophy (CHED) which has impacted my vision since birth, but this has never wavered my love of art and creation.

​There have often been times I wish I could show everyone what I saw, and art gives me that ability. Art does not have to be picture-perfect or realistic, but it can project that image we see into reality. I want to bring awareness to the visually impaired community and show that anyone can create art they're proud of.

I have a number of art mediums under my belt. I'm trained as a  3D environment artist working inside game engines and modeling software such as Maya. I am also a traditional painter, trained in fine art as well as a digital artist. I specialize in abstract, impressionism and a bit of my own style that I call "Warped Reality", based on the blur my vision has often captured.
